New Delhi: Six people of a family have been found dead in their house in Shastri Park area of ​​the national capital Delhi. It is suspected that he died due to suffocation due to the smoke of mosquito coils burnt in the room.

DCP North East said that on Thursday night the victim’s family slept with mosquito coils lit and all were found dead in the morning. It is likely that the accident happened due to inhaling carbon monoxide coming out of mosquito coils overnight. At present, the incident is being investigated.

According to the police, sometime during the night, a burning mosquito net fell on top of a mattress. Many members of the family lost consciousness due to the toxic fumes and later died.

Out of the six persons who died, four were adult males, one adult female and one child.

The treatment of 2 people scorched in the fire is going on. The age of the girl admitted in the hospital is 15 years and the age of the male is about 45 years. 1 male of about 22 years was discharged after first aid.

According to the police, during investigation, it was found that the mosquito repellent coil fell on the burning mattress. Due to which the whole room caught fire and smoke filled. Due to its grip, 6 people of the same family died.
