Tamil Nadu: In Tamil Nadu, A 65-year-old man died after being thrashed by his son. Over dividing the family property, the son was reportedly disgruntled to his father. The deceased was identified as Kulandhaivelu, who was died days after he was assaulted by his son Santhosh.
During the investigation, CCTV footage perforates satisfaction to the face of his father repeatedly, so that he had blood and fell. Seeing the attack, other family members intervened and stopped satisfaction. A clearly angry is trying to continue the satisfaction attack.
After the death of the man – owner of a private company, his family filed a complaint, and an investigation was launched. Over the attack a case was initially registered after Kulandhaivelu was hospitalised, but was later withdrawn.
After the incident, a case was registered under sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous means) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Santosh was later arrested.
