Bengaluru: The South film industry has suffered a major setback. Nandamuri Taraka Ratna, the cousin of South Superstar Junior NTR passes away. Nandamuri has been a Telugu actor and TDP leader. He fainted during a padyatra in Chittoor in January, after which he was admitted to the hospital. Then as soon as the news came out, his cousins ​​Junior NTR and Kalyan Ram also reached Bangalore to get an update on his health.

Tarak Ratna was undergoing treatment at Narayan Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Bengaluru. In January, Tarak Ratna had joined his cousin Nara Lokesh’s padayatra. He collapsed during the rally, after which he was immediately taken to the hospital. Then his uncle and veteran actor Nandamuri Balakrishna confirmed that he had suffered a heart attack and was in a coma. Fans and close people were constantly wishing for his speedy recovery.

Nandamuri is the cousin of Tarak Ratna Jr. NTR and ‘Bimbisar’ actor Kalyan Ram. He is the grandson of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, a great South actor and three-time Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (United).

Many Tollywood celebrities have mourned the death of Tarak Ratna. Many artists including Chiranjeevi to Mahesh Babu have written condolence messages.

Tarak Ratna started his film journey with the 2003 film ‘Okato Number Kurradu’. He has played lead role in many films. He was seen in the role of Villain in ‘Amravati’ (2009). Last year, he has also appeared in the lead role in the web series named ‘9 Hours’.
