In this matter, the officials told Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan that there are 155 idols in Mahakal Lok, out of which 3 have been broken. Let us tell you that these idols of 10 to 25 feet high are made of red stone and fiber reinforce plastic. Artists from Gujarat, Odisha and Rajasthan associated with MP Babaria firm have done workmanship on these. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated ‘Mahakal Lok’ on 11 October 2022.

After this, people from country and abroad are reaching to see Mahakal Lok. However, due to the broken idols in the rain and storm, questions are also being raised on the construction work. Former Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath said that when the then Congress government of Madhya Pradesh had taken a pledge to construct the grand Mahakal temple complex in Ujjain, it had not imagined that the subsequent government would also be serious about the construction of Mahakal Lok. Irregularity will do.

Today, the way the deity idols fell on the ground due to the storm in the Mahakal Lok complex, that scene is a very pathetic scene for any religious person. I demand from the Chief Minister that the idols which have fallen in Mahakal Lok, new idols should be installed immediately and those who make shoddy constructions should be punished after investigation.

City Congress President Ravi Bhadoria said, “I was going to a program. Only then information was received that idols have fallen in Mahakal Lok. Immediately reached the spot and saw that the idols fell in a slight storm. If a severe storm If a storm had come, the entire Mahakal Lok would have been blown away. A lot of corruption has taken place in the Mahakal Lok built at a cost of crores of rupees.
