Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh Lauds CBSE Students in Special Campaign 3.0

Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology, as well as Minister of State for PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy, and Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh, expressed admiration for the dedicated contributions of students from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in the ongoing Special Campaign 3.0.

The first week of Special Campaign 3.0 has showcased an extensive and all-encompassing presence, with active participation observed in offices throughout the country. More than 42,000 sites have been engaged in the campaign, and a remarkable 4,000 tweets have been issued by various Ministries and Departments to spotlight the progress achieved by field offices, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), Defense Establishments, Missions, and posts. The combined efforts of thousands of officials and citizens have cultivated a nationwide movement for cleanliness and hygiene within government offices.

A notable highlight in the initial week of Special Campaign 3.0 has been the ‘Shramdaan’ initiative in the Swachhata Campaign, undertaken by CBSE school students. This initiative involved students engaging in cleanliness drives within their surroundings while propagating messages emphasizing cleanliness and sustainability. This practice has been recognized as a commendable contribution to the campaign’s success.

Special Campaign 3.0 is set to conclude on October 31, and the evaluation phase will commence in the first week of November. The campaign’s holistic approach and the active participation of numerous entities, including CBSE students, are indicative of the collective commitment to fostering cleanliness and good governance practices within government offices across the nation.
