Philadelphia: A day before America’s Independence Day, there has been a firing incident in Philadelphia. Four people have died in this firing that took place on Monday late night. At the same time, other people have been injured. According to local news, police have taken a suspect into custody.
Police released a statement saying the suspect was apprehended and was wearing a ballistic vest. A rifle and handgun have been recovered from the spot. The Enquirer and ABC News affiliates reported that two teenagers were also victims of the shooting.
Police spokeswoman Jasmine Reilly said six victims were taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and two are being treated at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
