Uttar Pradesh: Law student shot dead as objects to overtaking car hitting his bike

Lucknow: On Monday, an official said that a law student was shot dead in Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh after an altercation when his bike was hit by an overtaking car. After getting information about this incident local police rushed to the spot.

Lucknow: On Monday, an official said that a law student was shot dead in Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh after an altercation when his bike was hit by an overtaking car. After getting information about this incident local police rushed to the spot.

The victim was identified as Amit Umar Vaishya. Additional SP of Bhadohi district Tejveer Singh said that the victim and his brother were en route to Madhosingh railway station when a speeding car overtook them and hit their bike in Purushottampur area at 6 am.

He added that after this, the victim , his brother and the car occupants were involved in a heated argument. About this incident, the police official said, “During the altercation, one of the occupants pulled out a gun and shot at Amit. The accused then fled the spot.”

Law student was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead. His uncle Murari Chandra told that Amit was studying LLB. Meanwhile, six police teams were deployed for investigation and important clues were found regarding the incident. Additional SP Singh said that the culprits will be arrested soon.
