Uttar Pradesh’s Banda : A shocking incident unfolded in Uttar Pradesh’s Banda district when a man allegedly bit off the finger of a shopkeeper following a dispute over a mere Rs 50. The confrontation occurred during a transaction for a larger-sized frock at the shop.
The incident transpired at the garment shop of Shivchandra Karwaria, where a customer had initially purchased a frock. Returning the next day, the customer expressed dissatisfaction with the size of the garment and requested a larger one. Karwaria informed him of the need for an additional Rs 50 to exchange for the larger frock.
However, what started as a simple transaction soon escalated into a heated argument over the amount. In the midst of the altercation, the customer allegedly attacked Karwaria, biting off the top finger of the shopkeeper’s left hand. Additionally, the shopkeeper’s son was also reportedly bitten during the scuffle.
After the violent altercation, the accused not only injured the shopkeeper and his son but also threw the shop’s merchandise onto the road before fleeing the scene.
Karwaria, injured and shaken by the incident, promptly reported the attack to authorities at a nearby police station. Following his complaint, a case was registered against the accused.
The police, under the guidance of SHO Suresh Saini from Kotwali Naraini, have launched a search operation to locate and apprehend the accused individual. Once apprehended, the perpetrator will face legal consequences for his aggressive actions.
