Bengaluru: Recently some people are traveling dangerously on the road and getting into accidents. No matter how many warnings the police give, they don’t pay attention. A video capturing a couple from Bengaluru riding a scooter with their child standing on a footrest beside the woman has sparked outrage online. As the video surfaced on X, Bengaluru Traffic Police reacted to it, while several others criticised the parents for their “reckless” behaviour.
The footage shared by the X user was recorded in Whitefield, a bustling area of the city known for heavy traffic. In the video, the man can be seen driving the scooter amidst the heavy traffic of Bengaluru. His wife, who was sitting behind him, was holding their son with one hand, who was standing precariously on the footstool next to her. The caption of the post read, “Idiot on the road. @blrcitytraffic @BlrCityPolice please take action.”

Since being posted online, the couple has faced severe backlash from social media users. They have slammed the child’s parents for putting his life at risk, as one commented: “That woman needs strict punishment.”
Another exclaimed, “I have no words.”
Reacting to the video, Bengaluru Traffic Police responded by tagging Whitefield Traffic Police Station to take action against the couple.
This video has gone viral and garnered over 1 lakh views on X.
