Watch: Massive fire breaks out on the 5th floor of Greater Noida’s highrise building, furniture worth lakhs gutted

Greater Noida: A sudden fire broke out in 1 flat in Greater Noida West’s Gaur City Society’s 5th Avenue around 10:00 am on Sunday morning. The family members had gone out of the flat when the fire broke out. Goods worth lakhs of rupees kept in the flat were gutted in the fire. The reason for the fire is not yet clear.

Pradeep Kamboj lives with his family in G block of the society. He told that he had gone out of the society for some work. His daughter and wife also came down from the locked flat for some work. Neighbors informed him about the fire in the flat through phone. When I went and saw, the things kept in the flat were burning in smoke.

The people of the society controlled the fire in time with the help of fire fighting equipment, otherwise a bigger accident could have happened. Electric equipment, furniture items kept in the flat were also burnt to ashes due to the fire.
