New Delhi: Team India’s jersey is about to change. Global sportswear brand adidas has shared the first look of Team India’s new jersey for all formats of the game. The sportswear giant shared a glimpse of the jersey on social media. Team India fans are eagerly waiting for the new kit design.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) partnered with Adidas in May as the kit sponsor for India’s men’s and women’s cricket teams. On Thursday, adidas India shared a picture of the Indian cricket team’s shirt on Instagram. With this the first look of the Test, ODI and T20I kits were unveiled.

Introduction of Team India’s new jersey
Unveiling the jersey, Adidas showed a glimpse of the Wankhede Stadium and wrote – “An iconic moment. An iconic stadium. Introducing Team India’s new jersey.” While the test kit featured 3-stripes on the shoulder of the white shirt, one of the white-ball kits featured a darker shade of blue. This jersey is getting great response.

Team India will come with new jersey in WTC Final
The Indian men’s cricket team will be the first team to wear the new kit when they take on Australia in the World Test Championship final at the Oval in London from June 7. The BCCI had inked a 5-year deal with the sportswear giant for kit sponsorship – Adidas will provide the kits for all matches, training and travel for the BCCI. Which includes men’s, women’s and youth teams. From June 2023, Team India will be seen in three stripes for the first time. Will debut with his new kit during the World Test Championship Finals.
