Weather Changes of Delhi NCR today, rain started in many areas with strong wind

New Delhi: Rain was recorded in many areas in the national capital New Delhi on Sunday morning. Light to moderate rain accompanied with thunder and gusty winds with a speed of 30-50 kmph occurred in many areas of Delhi. On Sunday morning, the Meteorological Department said that light to moderate rain and 30-50 days were expected in most places of Delhi.

New Delhi: Rain was recorded in many areas in the national capital New Delhi on Sunday morning. Light to moderate rain accompanied with thunder and gusty winds with a speed of 30-50 kmph occurred in many areas of Delhi.

On Sunday morning, the Meteorological Department said that light to moderate rain and 30-50 days were expected in most places of Delhi (Safdarjung, Lodi Road, IGI Airport, Ayanagar), adjoining areas of NCR (Loni Dehat, Bahadurgarh, Ghaziabad). Strong winds will blow at the speed of kilometer per hour.

The Meteorological Department had told on Saturday that the sky remained clear in the capital on the previous day. Due to strong sunlight, the maximum temperature had increased by one and a half degree Celsius and the minimum temperature by about two degree Celsius as compared to the previous day.

The Meteorological Department had predicted partly cloudy sky late on Saturday night. He had told that the sky will be partly cloudy on Sunday. The maximum temperature is expected to be 37 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is likely to be 23 degree Celsius. After this, due to clear sky, the temperature can reach 42 degree Celsius due to increase in heat next week.

According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature will rise gradually. Next week, the temperature could reach 40 degree Celsius on Wednesday and 42 degree Celsius on Friday. Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 36 degrees Celsius on Saturday, which is four notches below normal. The minimum temperature was also recorded at 22.7 degrees Celsius, four notches below normal.

Pitampura recorded the highest maximum temperature of 38 degree Celsius and minimum temperature of 25.6 degree Celsius. The maximum level of humidity in the air was 88 per cent and the minimum level was 36 per cent. A day earlier, the maximum temperature in Delhi was 34.5 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature was 20.8 degree Celsius.
