Indore: A 21-year-old woman from Madhya Pradesh, accused of orchestrating her own kidnapping from Kota, Rajasthan, was located by the police in Indore. Along with her friend, she staged the abduction to gather money for overseas travel.

Woman Traced After Alleged Kidnapping Hoax

The Madhya Pradesh woman, along with her accomplice, purportedly staged their abduction from Kota, Rajasthan, in an attempt to secure funds for international travel. After being missing for over two weeks, authorities from both Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan successfully located the duo in Indore.

Police Investigation Unveils

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Rajesh Dandotia confirmed the discovery of 21-year-old Kavya and her friend Harshit in Indore. The two had rented a room in the Devguradia area of the city. Further action on the matter will be taken by the Kota Police.

Modus Operandi Revealed

The woman, initially enrolled at a coaching center in Kota, orchestrated her abduction and demanded Rs 30 lakh from her parents, claiming it was for her escape to a foreign destination. Accompanied by her mother to a hostel in Kota under the guise of attending coaching classes, Kavya spent only three days there before traveling to Indore with a friend, who shared her aspirations for international travel.
