In a distressing incident in Mysuru, Karnataka, a woman in her early thirties named Suma was allegedly confined to a room for several weeks by her husband, Sannaiah, who, according to the police, displayed signs of insecurity. While Suma claimed that this confinement had persisted since their marriage 12 years ago, the police asserted that she had been locked up for the past two to three weeks.
