In a mishap in Bastar district, Chhattisgarh, ten police personnel sustained injuries when the bus they were traveling in overturned. The incident occurred on Sunday while the bus was transporting the officers for poll duty. Madhya Pradesh: Betul District Accident
Tragically, the Bastar incident follows closely on the heels of another accident in Betul district, Madhya Pradesh, where at least 21 police and Home Guard personnel were injured in a similar bus overturning. The mishap occurred in the early hours of Saturday as the personnel were returning to their home district, Rajgarh, after completing their election duty. The police attribute the accident to a sudden maneuver by the bus driver to avoid colliding with a truck on the Bhopal-Betul highway, resulting in multiple injuries.

Of the total injured personnel in the Betul district accident, eight suffered serious injuries and were promptly transferred to the district hospital for urgent medical care. Meanwhile, those with minor injuries received treatment at Shahpur Hospital.
