New Delhi: Efforts are on to nab Amritpal Singh, a radical preacher and Khalistan supporter. Meanwhile, his supporters attacked the Indian Embassy in San Francisco. Khalistan supporters have caused a lot of damage to the Indian Consulate. Khalistani supporters first reached there to protest, later they attacked. In several videos made by the attackers themselves, it is seen that the miscreants are breaking the glass doors and windows of the consulate building with the wooden butt of the Khalistan flag.

Significantly, on Sunday pro-Khalistan separatists had insulted the tricolor in Britain. India had raised questions regarding security by summoning the most senior British diplomat in Delhi on Sunday night. The Ministry of External Affairs had said in a strong statement that India has got to see the indifference of the UK government for the security of Indian diplomatic premises and personnel in the UK, which is unacceptable. Sources said British Deputy High Commissioner Christina Scott was summoned to the Ministry of External Affairs in view of the incident as High Commissioner Alex Ellis is out of Delhi.

Significantly, the search for Amritpal Singh is on. According to top government sources, Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh is being searched extensively in Punjab since Saturday. He stockpiled a large number of weapons, ran de-addiction centers to wean young Sikh men and used a Mercedes SUV gifted by a drug dealer.

Hundreds of paramilitary personnel have spread across Punjab and internet has been banned in search of Amritpal Singh. Amritpal Singh was seen speeding in a Mercedes SUV on Saturday. However, later Amritpal Singh abandoned the car and rode on a bike to dodge the police.
