Bengaluru: At the end of the year, a tragic incident took place in Bengaluru, where 27-year-old software engineer Dipanshu Sharma died untimely. Sharma, originally from Uttar Pradesh, lived in KR Puram area of the city. The unfortunate incident occurred during a New Year’s Eve party on the 33rd floor of a building.
On the eve of the celebration, Sharma was at a friend’s flat and indulged in the usual festivities. As he moved aside to enjoy a cigarette, a fatal accident occurred. Sharma accidentally fell from an open window and died from the 33rd floor. This fun turned into a scene of shock and disappointment in an instant.
After the party, Sharma and his friends returned to the apartment around 2.30 am. Deciding to clean the room filled with ashes and cigarette butts from the night’s party, Sharma went to the balcony. Then he died untimely after slipping and falling from a tall building.
As soon as the news of the accident was received, the police immediately reached the spot. A case has been registered in connection with the incident and a thorough investigation is being conducted. This serious incident eclipsed the festive activities across the city and reminded everyone of the fragility of life amidst the festive cheer.
