Patna: On Thursday, an official said that at least six people were killed after a hotel near Patna railway station caught fire. After receiving information about this incident the Fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the fire.

Patna: On Thursday, an official said that at least six people were killed after a hotel near Patna railway station caught fire. After receiving information about this incident the Fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the fire.

In this incident Several others injured according to the information. Official said that the fire broke out in a hotel near Golambar in Kotwali police station area, in Patna. .

Fire Fighting Patna DIG Mrityunjay Kumar said the officials doused the fire and all the injured were taken to the hospital. After getting information about this, Fire officials and local police reached on the spot and rescued several people from the hotel.

So far, many people have been rescued and sent to PMCH. Shobha Ahokre, Fire Director General said that 45 people have been rescued from the hotel building. According to locals, the fire broke out due to a gas cylinder explosion and safety standards were not followed in the hotel.

Officials said that fire audit of all the buildings near the hotel is being done. He said, “The cause of the fire is being investigated. The condition of four people is critical due to burn injuries in the fire.”
