There is good news for BSEB toppers. The Bihar government has decided to provide free engineering and medical education to the students who topped the 10th examination. Anand Kishor, chairman of the Bihar School Examination Board, said that as per the instructions of CM Nitish Kumar, the toppers of this year’s matriculation will be given free engineering and medical education. This arrangement will continue in future as well. Anand Kishore said that for the toppers, free hostel will be given for the children preparing for medical and engineering from this year. He said that arrangements would be made for the stay of topper girl students in Bankipur Girls School and for topper students in Patna Collegiate School.
CM had given instructions
Anand Kishore said that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had directed the Bihar Board to arrange free engineering and medical coaching for meritorious matriculation students passed by the Board. He told that CM Nitish Kumar had taken this decision in March itself. He told that the Chief Minister had said that medical and engineering studies should be made free for the meritorious students for their better education.

Talking to reporters in Patna on Wednesday, Anand Kishore said that applications will be allotted from June 5. The studies will start from the month of July. He said that the students will be selected on the basis of the applications received. He said that free coaching will be arranged for the selected students.
Experienced teachers will be selected – Anand Kishore
Anand Kishore told that the teacher who teaches medical and engineering is being selected. The process of selecting the teachers who are preparing for medical and engineering in the past is being done keeping in view their merit. The teaching teacher will be selected on the basis of advertisement, who has prior experience of teaching in IIT and Medical coachings.
