In response to the prevailing cold wave in Lucknow, the district administration has issued a directive allowing the continuation of online classes in all government, non-government, and private schools up to class 12 until February 3. District Magistrate Suryapal Gangwar emphasized that for schools conducting physical classes, timings are restricted to 10 am to 3 pm. The order emphasizes the school management’s responsibility to safeguard students from the cold by using room heaters to maintain a comfortable temperature in each classroom.
