New Delhi: Police said that a man was found dead in the Karawal Nagar area of northeast Delhi at his rented accommodation on Wednesday. The man was 35-year-old. The victim was identified as Subhash. After getting information about this incident local police reached the on spot.
According to the information, he was found dead and his landlord was apprehended in connection to the incident. Joy Tirkey,Deputy Commissioner of Police said, “At 7.15 am, a PCR call was received regarding a body at a house in Ambedkar Vihar in the Karawal Nagar area.”
After arriving at the scene, a police team discovered Subhash’s body. He added that however, no visible external injuries were observed on the body. Police said, according to the preliminary investigation, the owner of the house Satish Bhadana allegedly assaulted Subhash due to a monetary issue.
ThenDCP said,”The victim worked as a labourer. Satish Bhadana is the suspect in the case. He has been apprehended.” He added that Bhadana works as a sanitation worker in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi.
After the incident,the body of the man was underwent postmortem examination at GTB Hospital. According to the report, police said that multiple internal injuries were discovered, including a head injury and perforated intestine.
Police said that during interrogation, the accused told that Subhash was living with him as a servant for the last eight years. He alleged that a total of Rs 15,000 was missing from his money box and he suspected Subhash of theft. Police added that he assaulted Subhash over this matter and unfortunately, the victim later died.
