Ayodhya: On the occasion of Ram Navami, Surya Abhishek of the idol of Ram Lalla will take place in the Ram temple of Ayodhya after 500 years in Abhijeet Muhurta at 12.16 pm. This day is special for Ram devotees. Because of this a large number of devotees have reached Ram temple. On this special occasion, darshan of Ramlala has started in Ayodhya from 3.30 in the morning. It is estimated that 25 lakh devotees will reach Ayodhya. Preparations have also been made for this. Since Mangala Aarti at 3.30 in the morning, there are queues of devotees waiting to have darshan of Ramlala.
Shringaar Aarti took place at 5 in the morning. Devotees are also continuously having darshan of Ramlala, only the curtain was kept for some time while offering Bhog. On the occasion of Ram Navami the temple will remain open till 11 pm. There will also be Bhog and Aarti in between. At 12.16 pm, Ramlala’s forehead will be anointed with sun rays. Sun rays will be anointed on the forehead of Ramlala for about 4 minutes. During this time, 100 LED screens have been installed to broadcast the pictures inside the sanctum sanctorum to the devotees in Ayodhya.
Tight security arrangements have been made in Ayodhya Dham on the occasion of Ram Navami. Police and para military personnel are deployed at every nook and corner of Ayodhya. Around 25 lakh devotees are likely to reach Ramnagari to witness the birth anniversary of Ramlal, keeping in view the strict security arrangements have been made. Special care has also been taken to ensure that the devotees coming for the darshan of Lord Ramlala do not face any problem.
