Flood causes havoc in Afghanistan, at least 31 people killed, 74 injured

Kabul: In Afghanistan, at least 31 people have died due to floods in the country in the last 72 hours, while 74 people have been injured and 41 people are missing. There is an outcry in Afghanistan due to heavy floods.

Kabul: In Afghanistan, at least 31 people have died due to floods in the country in the last 72 hours, while 74 people have been injured and 41 people are missing. There is an outcry in Afghanistan due to heavy floods.

According to the information, Shafiullah Rahimi, spokesman for the Taliban-led Ministry of State for Natural Disaster Management, as saying. He said that 250 cattle have also died due to the flood.

Rahimi said that 600 houses and hundreds of acres of land have been damaged due to heavy floods. He said that the floods in the country started three days back and so far 31 people have died and 74 are injured. Over 604 houses have been damaged.

At the same time, Faizullah Jalal, head of the Taliban-led Natural Disaster Management Department, said that more than 30 bodies have been recovered so far. He further said that the injured have been taken to the hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, people affected by the floods urged the Taliban and humanitarian organizations to provide them with shelter and other basic needs.

Meanwhile, Taliban-led provincial governor Bakhtiar Maz said they were working on food and shelter aid for those affected by the floods. He said that our teams from Ministry of Disaster Management, Ministry of Public Affairs and Ministry of Interior are on the way. We will solve all the problems.”
