New Delhi: Due to Western Disturbance active over the Himalayas, rains are continuing in North India including Delhi NCR for the last 4 days. According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi NCR will remain cloudy today and many areas will experience light to moderate rains. However, the level of rain today will be less than Saturday. The sun may also bloom for some time in between.
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be light clouds throughout the day and the weather will be pleasant. From today Sunday night, the effect of a fresh Western Disturbance will be seen in the states of North West India, due to which heavy rain and hailstorm can be seen in those states. There is a possibility of rain in these states on April 3 i.e. Monday as well. During this, the maximum temperature can be recorded at 30 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature at 18 degree Celsius.
According to private weather agency Skymet, today light to moderate rain is possible in parts of Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland (Weather Update of 2 April 2023). Light to moderate snowfall is possible in Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Jammu Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh. There may be scattered snowfall in the upper reaches of Ladakh.
Light to moderate rains may occur in West Bengal, parts of Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, North Punjab and North Haryana (Weather Forecast Today). Light rain is possible at 1 or 2 places over Telangana, Tamil Nadu, South Interior Karnataka, Kerala, parts of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. The temperature may increase gradually over the northwestern and central parts of the country.
Today in Lucknow also there may be rain with thunder after the dust storm (Weather Forecast Today). There is a possibility of thunderstorm and rain in Noida-Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Faridabad also today. It is estimated that after April 3, there may be some change in the weather and after the return of Western Disturbance, the temperature may start rising again.
