IMD forecast predicts light to moderate rain and snowfall occur in HP, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh during the next 24 hours

According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there may be light to moderate rain and snowfall in Ladakh, Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh during the next 24 hours. Apart from this, there is a possibility of light rain in Assam, Jammu, Sikkim and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

New Delhi: The mood of the weather in the country is changing rapidly. Somewhere it is extremely hot and somewhere it is raining. The temperature has already crossed 32 in the national capital Delhi and NCR. In many states, the heat of March has started falling in February itself. This heat will be more intense in the future. At the same time, rains are continuing in some states, so there is snowfall on the mountains.

According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there may be light to moderate rain and snowfall in Ladakh, Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh during the next 24 hours. Apart from this, there is a possibility of light rain in Assam, Jammu, Sikkim and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

At the same time, the Meteorological Department said that in parts of Punjab, North Haryana and South Tamil Nadu, there may be light rain or thundershowers during the next 24 hours. Apart from this, the intensity of rain and snowfall may increase over the Western Himalayas between February 28 and March 2.

Delhi weather

There is going to be tremendous heat in the national capital. Today the weather is predicted to be clear. The Meteorological Department said that on Monday, the maximum temperature is expected to be around 32 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 13 degree Celsius. For the last one week, the temperature has been much above normal.

The weather remained hot in Delhi on Sunday and the maximum temperature was recorded at 32.3 degrees Celsius, which is seven degrees Celsius more than the average temperature of this season. The department said that the minimum temperature in the city was recorded at 12.9 degree Celsius, one degree above the average temperature of the season. At the same time, Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 290 at 6 pm on Sunday, which falls in the ‘poor’ category.

During the last 24 hours, light rain occurred over Kashmir, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and southern islands of Andaman and Nicobar. At the same time, the maximum temperature was 5 degrees or more above normal at many places in the Western Himalayas and at some places in Punjab and Delhi.
