According to NDRF officials, the boy had fallen into the borewell around 4 pm on Monday. He said that the child is trapped at a depth of 15 feet.

Maharashtra: A five-year-old child has fallen into a borewell while playing in Ahmednagar district. The administration is trying to save the child. According to the information, the child fell into the bore well while playing. Police and fire brigade are doing rescue operation. The child is about 15 feet away and efforts are being made to rescue him. It is said that the child’s father works as a sugarcane cutter. According to NDRF, at 4 pm, Kopardi village of Karjat taluka of Ahmednagar district where a child has fallen into a borewell. 5 NDRF teams are present on the spot.

The team told that every possible effort is being made to save the 5-year-old boy who has fallen into 15 to 20 feet deep borewell. The district police administration is also present at the spot.

Let us tell you that in 2006, five-year-old Prince Kumar Kashyap fell into a 55-feet deep borewell in a village in Kurukshetra, Haryana, to save which a major rescue operation was carried out. After about 48 hours, the Prince was taken out safely. During this, the whole country had kept an eye on this incident.

In the year 2017, seven-year-old Sai Barhate fell into a borewell in Kopargaon tehsil of Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, although he died but could not be saved.
