Established in 1968, the INCB plays a crucial role as an independent and quasi-judicial monitoring body for enforcing United Nations international drug control conventions. Comprising 13 members elected by the ECOSOC, the INCB operates in their personal capacity, prioritizing the global fight against drug-related challenges.
