Jharkhand: 3 women killed as pick-up van collides with tractor in Ranchi district

RANCHI: On Monday, an official said that three women were killed in Ranchi district of Jharkhand after the pick-up van on which they were travelling collided with a tractor after hitting the road median.

After getting information about this incident local people reached on the spot and informed to the police. Official added that the accident happened in the Ratu Chatti area of Ranchi district of Jharkhand.

Shashibhusan Chaudhary, the inspector of Ratu police station said that the women were on the way to a waterbody for rituals on the occasion of the Chaiti Chhath festival.

He added,”After receiving information about this incident, they reached on the spot. He said that the three women died on the spot. ”
