In an electoral milestone, Rajasthan is gearing up for the Lok Sabha polls with a notable addition of more than 15 lakh first-time voters. State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Praveen Gupta announced that the recent state assembly elections resulted in the inclusion of 15,54,604 new voters, aged 18-19, into the electoral roll.

Over 15 Lakh First-Time Voters to Vote in Rajasthan. The state boasts a total of over 5.32 crore registered voters for the upcoming general elections in 2024, comprising 2,74,75,971 men and 2,53,51,276 women. Additionally, 616 individuals of the third gender are listed in the new voter roll.

During a meeting with political party representatives, CEO Gupta shared insights into the integrated voter lists. He highlighted that in the Rajasthan assembly elections held in November last year, over 5.6 lakh disabled voters and 11.72 lakh voters above 80 years were registered. These numbers have now increased to 5,72,965 and 12,85,960, respectively.
