Hyderabad: These days rain has become a problem in Telangana. The continuous rains for the last few days have broken the record of many years. Due to this incessant rain, water has even entered the houses in many places. Because of which people had to leave their homes and play in safe places.

Due to rain, there are flood-like conditions in many areas. Here flood and rain water has washed away the road. While there are many areas where roads have been submerged due to rain water. Because of this, the people living there are facing a lot of trouble. Let us tell you that the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rains in different areas of the state for the next few days.

It is believed that due to the formation of a strong vortex, the state has received record breaking rains. Explain that a vortex is a rotating cycle of air that is formed when there is a lot of moisture in the atmosphere.

Cloudburst in the early hours of Wednesday caused flooding in Mulugu and Bhupalpally districts. Many houses were submerged and roads were blocked, cutting off contact with several villages. People trapped in such areas were later evacuated with the help of boats and helicopters. Today some reduction in rain can be seen in some parts but the situation remains critical in some parts.

In state capital Hyderabad, no rain has been reported since last evening, however, there has been flooding in Warangal. Due to which the state government had to deploy boats for search and rescue operations. Warangal police have so far rescued 50 people, while over 10,000 people have been shifted to relief camps in rain-affected districts.

Union Tourism and Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy has spoken to Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the current flood situation in Telangana. At present, people are being evacuated from the affected areas with the help of two helicopters. 5 teams of NDRF are also deployed for rescue and relief operations.
