Noida: Police officials said that a seven-year-old boy killed in Noida after a car hit a motorcycle at a road intersection. After getting information about this incident local police reached the on spot.
Official added that the boy was on the motorcycle with his father when the two-wheeler was hit by the car at the Indus Valley intersection in Sector 62.
About this incident, a police spokesperson said,”The seven-year-old boy was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment where he succumbed to the injuries. He was a resident of Chhijarsi village in Noida.”
He also said that the driver of the car was detained and the vehicle was impounded by the police. He added further legal proceedings were underway. Gautam Buddh Nagar, which comprises the cities of Noida and Greater Noida, witnessed 1,176 road accidents in 2023, killing 470 people and injuring 858. According to official data, the district witnessed 437 such deaths and 856 injuries in 2022.
