Delhi-NCR wakes up to rain, IMD issues pleasant weather to continue for 3-4 days

New Delhi: Residents of Delhi-NCR woke up to heavy rain, gusty winds and thunderstorms on Saturday morning. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding rain in the entire NCR including the capital Delhi. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted pleasant weather to continue for the next three to four days. There will be no heatwave conditions till May 30, the IMD said.

IMD predicts light to moderate rain and heavy rain occur at some places in Northeast today

According to the report of Skymet Weather, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Northeast India and heavy rain in some places. Meghalaya, Tripura and Sikkim may receive very heavy rain at one or two places. Light to moderate rains may occur in some areas of Kerala, Interior Tamil Nadu, Northeast Bihar, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
