New Delhi: According to the weather department, it is expected to rain in many areas of Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana from April 1. Rain is continuing in many parts of North India since last 36 hours. According to private weather agency Skymet, the weather will remain clear in most parts of Gujarat and West Madhya Pradesh during the next 24 hours.

Violence in Howrah: There was a ruckus during the Ram Navami procession in Howrah district of West Bengal. Following the ruckus during the procession, some miscreants set vehicles on fire. Police reached the spot on information and restored peace.
