Atal Dulloo Appointed as New Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir by Central Government

The central government, on Wednesday, announced the appointment of senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Atal Dulloo as the new chief secretary of Jammu and Kashmir. Dulloo, a 1988-batch Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory (AGMUT) cadre IAS officer, is set to assume office on December 1, succeeding the current chief secretary, Arun Kumar Mehta, who is retiring on Thursday.

J&K: An early hours of Saturday, official said that a massive fire broke out in the tourist hub of Srinagar's Dal Lake , destroying property worth crores of rupees.
