On the auspicious occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s birth anniversary, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to be honored with the prestigious Shiv Samman Award in Maharashtra’s Satara. This esteemed accolade, instituted by the Satara royal family and devout followers of Lord Shiva, will be presented to PM Modi during a grand ceremony at the Sainik School Ground on 19 February.
PM Modi to Receive Shiv Samman Award on Shivaji Maharaj’s Birth Anniversary. Chhatrapati Udayanraje Bhosale, the 13th descendant of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and current BJP Rajya Sabha MP, announced the conferment of the Shiv Samman Award to Prime Minister Modi. The significance of the award is heightened as it aligns with the birth anniversary celebrations of the revered Maratha warrior.
The ceremony, to be held at the Sainik School Ground, was inspected by Bhonsle along with district authorities and police to ensure its grandeur and seamless execution.
