Washington: Big blow to Hollywood industry as Paul Grant, who starred in ‘Star Wars: Return of the Jedi’ and ‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone’, passed away at the age of 56. Paul’s grand-daughter has confirmed this. According to media reports, Paul Grant fell outside King’s Cross station in London, after which he was taken to the hospital, where the doctor declared him brought dead.
An ambulance service officer said they received a call about an incident at St Pancras station on Euston Road at around 2:08pm on Thursday (16 March), following which they immediately dispatched an ambulance and medical team to the scene. Sent. Seeing Paul’s condition, the medical team took him to the hospital, where the doctor declared him dead.
Grand-daughter of Paul Grant told the media, ‘My heart is broken. No girl wants to take away her father. He knew his work better and loved it too. He left us very soon. At the same time, Grant’s girlfriend Maria Dwyer said, “Paul was the love of my life. The funniest man I know. He made my life complete. Life will never be the same without Paul Grant.”
Grant played an Ewok in ‘George Lucas’ and a goblin (ghost) in ‘Harry Potter’. Apart from ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Harry Potter’, Paul Grant also had ‘The Dead’ (1987) and ‘Labyrinth’ (1986). Grant was also praised for his stunt performances in films such as ‘Willow’ (1988), ‘Labyrinth’ and ‘Legend’ (1985).
