Rajasthan: Police officials said that A 24-year-old woman alleged killed by her boyfriend after a fight at a farmhouse in Ballop village of Bundi district of Rajasthan on Tuesday. The man was 24-year-old.
They also said that the incident happened on Tuesday night under the Talera police station area. The accused identified as Mukesh Meghwal (24).
Sub-Inspector Harish Sharma said that the accused was a resident of Aktasa village, informed the control room around 5 pm on Tuesday that he has killed his girlfriend and her body is at a farmhouse in Ballop village.
He added that the woman later identified as Sunita Meena (24). She was a resident of Chitawa village of the same area, was found lying on the bed in room number 31 of Samiksha Farmhouse.
Giving details about this incident, Sub-Inspector said that the man was found bleeding as he had cut a vein on his arm in a fit of rage after killing his girlfriend. He added that the injured man was rushed to a local hospital, where the doctors referred him to Kota’s MBS Hospital.
On Wednesday morning, Harish Sharma said that the man is presently under treatment with two guards deployed for his custody and the body of the victim has been shifted to a mortuary for post-mortem to be conducted.
The sub-inspector said that there is a possibility that the woman may have been strangled to death after the assault, because there is no mark of injury or scratch on her body. He said that however, the actual cause of death will become clear after the post-mortem report come.
The sub-inspector further said that the background and marital status of the injured man and the victim woman are not yet known. He said that the owner of the farmhouse where this incident happened has not been contacted yet.
