Rajasthan: On Sunday, an official said that a man allegedly shot his son dead due to a family property dispute in Goluwala police station area of ​​Hanumangarh district in Rajasthan last night and later committed suicide. Rajasthan: On Sunday, an official said that a man allegedly shot his son dead due to a family property dispute in Goluwala police station area of ​​Hanumangarh district in Rajasthan last night and later committed suicide. After hearing the sound of firing, neighbors reached the spot and informed the police.

After receiving information about this incident, police reached on the spot.On Sunday, Police officer Ajay Kumar said that in Thirajwala village, Ramswarup (42) shot dead his son Saurabh (20) who was sleeping in his room on Saturday night and later shot himself.

He said that there are three other members in the family including Ramswarup’ mother, wife and elder son. The officer also said that the bodies were handed over to the relatives after post-mortem on Sunday and a case has been registered against Ram Swaroop under the Murder and Weapons Act in this regard.

Giving details about this incident, the police station in-charge said that the police have recovered illegal weapons (country-made pistol) and cartridges used in the crime from the incident site. He said that preliminary investigation has revealed that there was a dispute going on between the father and son regarding property. The police is investigating the matter.
