Simultaneously, the Indian government has declared a half-day closure for all Central Government Offices, Central Institutions, and Central Industrial Establishments across the country on the same day. Effective from 2:30 pm, this closure allows employees to participate in the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha ceremony.

The Ministry of Personnel and Training communicated this decision through an official memorandum on January 19, ensuring uniformity in observing this significant occasion. The directive applies to central offices in New Delhi and throughout India.

In anticipation of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, Govind Dev Giri, a member of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust, shared insights into the upcoming ‘Netronmelan’ ritual. Scheduled for January 22, the ceremony involves unveiling Ram Lalla’s statue by applying honey to a gold bar. Giri explained, “The basic method of ‘netronmelan’ is that by applying honey to a gold bar, the eyes become anointed, which looks like ‘kajal’ to the people.”

As the preparations continue, the Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya’s temple promises to be a momentous and spiritually significant event, bringing together devotees from across India.
