In a harrowing incident late on Monday night, a 30-year-old woman traveling from Jaipur to Bharatpur was reportedly sexually assaulted by a private bus conductor. The accused has been apprehended by the police after the survivor filed a formal complaint.
Woman Allegedly Raped by Bus Conductor. The victim, residing in Jaipur with her husband and originally from Bharatpur district, boarded a private bus on Monday night for her journey. The bus, making its last stop at Bayana from Jaipur, left her stranded without transportation to Bharatpur. Seeking assistance from the bus conductor to find an alternative vehicle, she was allegedly persuaded to remain on the same bus.

Sunil Kumar, the in-charge of Bayana police station, confirmed the arrest and emphasized that swift action was taken upon the victim’s complaint. Both the bus conductor and driver have been detained, and the bus has been seized as part of the ongoing investigation.
