Nagpur: In a significant development, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has appointed six new Sah-Sarkaryavahs during a crucial meeting held at its headquarters in Nagpur. Over 1,500 representatives from various RSS-affiliated organizations were present at the gathering.
The newly formed executive of the RSS, led by Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, now includes six Sah-Sarkaryavahs for the term spanning 2024 to 2027. This marks an increase from the previous term, which had five Sah-Sarkaryavahs. Notably, Dr. Manmohan Vaidya did not secure a place in this executive body.

In another development, Dattatreya Hosabale has been re-elected as the ‘Sarkaryavah’ (general secretary) of the RSS. Hosabale has been serving in this role since 2021 and has now been re-elected for the period from 2024 to 2027.
The annual three-day ‘Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha’ of the RSS commenced on Friday at the Smriti Bhavan complex in Reshimbagh, setting the stage for these crucial appointments.
