According to media reports, the shooting happened at the Vladislav Ribnikar school in central Belgrade on Wednesday.
According to reports, the accused is a class VII student of the school, who has been taken into custody by the police. The accused is a 14-year-old boy who opened fire on other students with his father’s gun. Five people have also been injured in the incident, out of which the condition of one is critical. The parents of the children are very nervous after getting the information about the incident.
After the incident, the police had cordoned off the school. Shootings like this are rare in Serbia because Serbia has strict rules for obtaining gun licenses. However, due to the fighting in the Western Balkans in the 1990s, there are large numbers of illegal weapons.
