New Delhi: A sensational incident of hit and run has came to fore from Nand Nagri area of ​​Delhi. Here a car rider crushed the woman. She was sitting on the back seat of the bike. The woman was seriously injured in the tragic incident and was admitted to the hospital for treatment.

The incident is said to have happened around 11:30 am on Tuesday (April 9). A CCTV footage of this has also surfaced, in which the car driver can be clearly seen crushing the woman sitting behind on the bike.

It can be seen in the CCTV footage that a man and a girl are riding a scooter. A car comes from behind and hits them. Due to collision, the woman starts falling from the scooter. When the girl fell, the driver ran the car over her and dragged her from the car.

The visual of the accident, recorded on CCTV cameras installed in the area, captured the attention of police who arrested the prime accused Sunny Rawal, a 21-year-old resident of Ghaziabad. The police have also confiscated the Maruti Swift, Deputy Commissioner of Police (northeast) Joy Tirkey said.

Rawal runs a general store with his father near their house, also located in Ghaziabad. Further investigation into the case is underway, police said.
