Telangana: Toddler attacked by stray dogs sustains multiple injuries in Kamareddy

Telangana: The attack of stray dogs is increasing day by day. Stray dogs made a 3-year-old child their victim in Kamareddy, Telangana.

The child was seriously injured after being attacked on the head and stomach. The incident took place on Monday i.e. June 12 in Mudholi village of Gandhari mandal of Kamareddy. The dog suddenly attacked the child while he was playing outside the function hall.

Ongoing treatment of the child
Seeing the child suffering, the local people somehow removed the dog from there and took the child to the hospital. The boy has suffered head and stomach injuries and is currently undergoing treatment. However, an official statement from the police and municipal officials on the incident is awaited.

Significantly, Telangana minister KT Rama Rao had said in February that he would work to “full capacity” to ensure that dog attacks do not happen in future. He made the comment while reacting to the death of a five-year-old boy who was bitten by dogs in Hyderabad.

The BRS leader expressed deep condolences to the family of the injured child and said, ‘We are trying to tackle the menace of street dogs in our municipalities. We have created animal care centers and animal birth control centers. We will try our best to ensure that these incidents do not recur.
