In a devastating incident in Mangurla village, Adilabad district, Telangana, a 17-year-old intermediate student took his own life after being refused entry to an exam due to tardiness. The heartbreaking episode unfolded on Thursday, when the student, arriving at the exam center at 9:15 am, was denied participation in the scheduled 9 am to 12 noon examination.

The young student, unable to bear the consequences of his tardiness, tragically jumped into an irrigation canal, leaving behind a poignant suicide note. Expressing deep remorse, the note apologized to his father for the unfortunate turn of events that prevented him from taking the exam.

Despite attempting to return home around 9:30 am, the student reportedly took a drastic step by jumping into the irrigation project, leading to his untimely demise by drowning.

Law enforcement authorities recovered the student’s body, initiated a formal case, and discovered the student’s watch and wallet at the scene. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding this tragic event are currently underway, highlighting the need for compassion and understanding in educational settings.
