Lucknow: The UP Police team has again reached Gujarat’s Sabarmati Jail today. According to the information, the UP Police will bring Atiq Ahmed to Prayagraj for questioning in the Umesh Pal murder case. In this case, Prayagraj Police had already obtained ‘B Warrant’ from the court. No date was set on this warrant. However, the police have also taken permission from the court to interrogate Atiq Ahmed in jail and record his statement in an old case.
According to the information, police will bring Atiq to Prayagraj on B warrant and remand him in judicial custody in the Umesh Pal murder case. After this, the police will file an application in the court to take them into custody. Actually, UP Police is preparing to seek police custody remand of Atiq Ahmed.
Prayagraj Police has registered a case against 13 people including mafia Atiq Ahmed and his son Ali. This FIR has been registered under sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 386, 286, 504, 506 and 120B in Dhoomanganj police station of Prayagraj. Sabir Hussain filed a complaint against these people. Sabir Hussain alleged that the son of mafia Atiq Ali and his henchmen were demanding bribe of one crore from him and threatened to kill him several times if he did not pay.
Atiq Ahmed’s troubles are not ending here. The investigating agency ED is going to attach two properties of Atiq Ahmed soon. The ED will soon attach the property under the PMLA Act on the charge of making illegally acquired benami property. ED is currently verifying the property. Two properties worth over crores will soon be attached under legal process.
UP Police is preparing to bring the helpers of Mafia Atiq’s son Asad to Prayagraj in the Umesh Pal murder case of Prayagraj. 3 miscreants caught in Delhi are soon to be brought to Prayagraj on production warrant. 3 youths named Zeeshan, Khalid and Javed are accused of sheltering Atiq’s son Asad and shooter Ghulam.
Delhi Police’s Special Cell has arrested these three. The police will now bring these three to Prayagraj and interrogate them in the Umesh Pal murder case. It will gather information about the location of fugitive Asad and Ghulam.
