UP: Instead of attending class, Principal gets facial done, ‘Bites’ teacher who caught her | Watch

Unnao/Uttar Pradesh: A shocking incident of a principal neglecting his duty to look after his personal matter has come to light from Uttar Pradesh. She even skipped her class to get a facial. After being caught, the principal also did not seem to apologize and on the contrary, she responded by scolding the assistant teacher who caught her. The principal allegedly hit the teacher with a brick and even bit her hand.

Sangeeta Singh, recognised as the headmistress of a primary school in the Unnao district, was allegedly receiving a facial when she should have been instructing students, according to police officials as per sources.

Anam Khan, an assistant teacher, discovered the beautification being performed in the area where food is prepared for students of the elementary school in Dandamau village of Bighapur block.

Sangeeta Singh was getting the beauty procedure done inside the kitchen of Dadamau Primary School in Unnao instead of taking class, and the teacher, Anam Khan, caught her. A video of the incident, filmed by Khan, has been shared widely on social media. It shows Singh sitting on a chair and getting the facial done when Khan catches her. Singh looks angry and gets up from her seat to confront Khan. The next shot shows the teacher crying and showing her hand with bruises, which appear to be bite marks.

According to the teacher, the principal thrashed her with a brick and bit her hand.

After the video went viral, the block education officer launched an investigation into the matter and said that action would be taken accordingly.

Anam Khan has lodged a complaint against Sangeeta Singh at the Bighapur police station.

Bighapur Circle Officer Maya Rai said that they received a complaint from a teacher accusing the principal of assault and “necessary action” would be taken following an investigation into the matter.
