UP: An official said that a girl was allegedly choked to death in a village on Saturday under the Ramgarh Police Station area, an officer said. The girl was 11-year-old. According to an official, the minor girl’s death is believed to have been caused by her female neighbour.
The victim was identified as Tulsi. Official added that the victim was strangled during a fight with a neighbour in Raipura village of Firozabad district.
Sarvesh Kumar Mishra, Superintendent of Police (City) said that Tulsi had a fight with Ruby, wife of one Manish, who lives in the neighbourhood, over some issue.
He aaded that during the fight, Ruby grabbed Tulsi by her neck so hard that she became unconscious. Receiving information about this incident police reached on the spot.
Affer the fight the victim family members and police rushed the girl to the district hospital, where the doctors declared her dead.
Superintendent of Police said that Ruby has been booked and taken into custody. Tulsi’s body has been sent for post mortem.
