Lucknow: On Thursday, an official said that four people were killed in a tragic road accident in Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh. According to the police report, one critically injured in this incident.
After getting information about this incident, local police reached on the spot. Official said that the accident happened on the Phephna-Buxar highway when a car lost control while attempting to overtake another vehicle.
Giving details bout this incident, Additional Superintendent of Police Durga Prasad Tiwari said,” A Tata Safari veered out of control while it was attempting to overtake another vehicle and it further overturned after hitting a tree. The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Phephna Police Station around 10:30 p.m.”
He added,”Tragically, all five passengers who boarded the vehicle sustained serious injuries in the crash and were rushed to the district hospital for immediate medical treatment.”
Police said that the deceased were identified as Satyendra Yadav (40), Raju Yadav (30), and Kamlesh Yadav (36),Ritesh Gond (32).However, the doctors said that Satyendra Yadav (40), Raju Yadav (30), and Kamlesh Yadav (36) dead upon arrival.
They added that another passenger, Ritesh Gond (32), also succumbed to his injuries while en route to a hospital in Mau district. Besides, the condition of Chhotu Yadav (32), the lone survivor of the accident, is critical.
Official also said that he has been admitted to a hospital in Varanasi for immediate treatment. Meanwhile, giving detailed information, the officials said that they have taken possession of the bodies and have started the necessary procedure for post-mortem.
