Clashes in Nalanda: After Sasaram in Bihar, a fierce clash between two groups took place in Nalanda on Friday during the Ram Navami procession. There was stone pelting from both the sides. A young man involved in the procession has been shot in the firing.

Bihar : There has been violence, arson, stone pelting and vandalism in two districts of Bihar, Nalanda and Sasaram. Many policemen have been injured in the stone pelting. Many people were injured in the bombing, firing and stone pelting from both the sides. Houses and shops were set on fire. Section-144 has been imposed by the administration in Sasaram and entire Nalanda, police and paramilitary forces are marching.

Two youths were injured after being shot in Nalanda

Two people were shot in the firing in Nalanda’s Biharsharif. More than 12 bikes have been burnt. Many shops have been handed over to the fire. Here both sides are still face to face. According to the police, the situation is under control here.

According to information, sloganeering was happening during the procession. That’s when those stone pelting happened. After this both the communities clashed and started pelting stones at each other. Angry people also started arson. Firing also took place from one side. Due to this, two youths involved in the procession were injured. His condition is critical.

On the other hand, the dispute started in Sasaram during the procession at night itself. Here the controversy escalated further on Friday. Houses were bombed. Some houses have been handed over to the fire.

Several people, including two policemen, were injured in stone-pelting in Sasaram, who have been admitted for treatment. Police forces of three districts have been deployed on the spot. Internet has been turned off.
